The Mystic

“Just as in earthly life lovers long for the moment when they are able to breathe forth their love for each other, to let their souls blend in a soft whisper, so the mystic longs for the moment when in prayer he can, as it were, creep into God.”

Soren Kierkegaard quotes (Danish Philosopher and Theologian)

Inspirational

Only the perfect man can transcend the limits of the human and yet not withdraw from the world, live in accord with mankind and yet suffer no injury himself. Of the worlds teaching he learns nothing. He has that within which makes him independent of others. If the eye is unobstructed, the result is sight. If the ear is unobstructed, the result is hearing. If the nose is unobstructed, the result is smell. If the mouth is unobstructed, the result is taste. If the mind is unobstructed, the result is wisdom.

Daily Word

Happy is that soul, which heareth the Lord speaking within her, and from His mouth receiveth the word of comfort.

Happy ears, which receive the strains of the divine whisper, and take no notice of the whisperings of the world .

Happy ears indeed, which hearken to truth itself teaching within, and not to the voice which soundeth without.

Happy eyes, which are shut to outward things, but are attentive to things interior.

Happy they, who penetrate into internal things, and endeavour to prepare themselves more and more by daily exercises for attaining to heavenly secrets.

A Very Warm Welcome and Thank You!

I just really want to take the time to thank all of you for your great support and a very special and warm welcome, as you share with me this very Mystical and Spiritual journey.

I am going to share with you today another one of my very special gifts from God. As a child I thought this gift came naturally and therefore did not see it as anything 'special' at the time. I could and still can 'read' a person's fingernails and know exactly what type of person they are, what is affecting them in their lives, and their vulnerabilities. This has truly helped me personally, taught me who to be wary of, and taught me whom I could trust. So much has come to pass, I have not at anytime been wrong. There were times though, when this was very overwhelming but I soon learned to overcome that.

Like they say the eyes are the windows to the soul, so are a person's fingernails. Yet, I have always remained very private about this and this was known to only a few of my close friends and my family until now.

The bottom line is, there is so much to tap into God's Love and Goodness for our lives, the way He directs our path when we trust in Him. All the desires of our heart shall come to pass.

Love,
Natalie

Thank You God

Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphant procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.

II Corinthians 2:14

A Word of Encouragement

As children of Almighty God our steps are ordered by Him. There were times I never understood this, but as I walked my journey of faith I soon realized. I pray a lot, and I constantly thank God for everything no matter how small, for example; before and after a meal, for arriving at my destination safely, a beautiful sunset, and the beauty of nature altogether. These are just a few examples; when you live in obedience to God's Word he promises to supply every one of your needs.

God is directing you too. Have an attitude of faith and expectancy and God will allow the right people to come along your path to help you get ahead and achieve great success! Always believe God is working on your behalf.

I learned to cast my cares and troubles on Him, I refused to be a victim of circumstance! I refused to dwell on my problems! I did not allow them to steal my peace and joy. Do not give power to negative thoughts in your mind. Proverbs 23:7 says "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." You can not think negative thoughts and expect a positive outcome. The next time someone brings negative thoughts to you, use it as an opportunity to give praise to God! He is always faithful to His Word and He will always be faithful to you.

Trust God to take care of you. Meditate on God's Word and confess His promises over your life each day.

So no matter what may be going on around you; anxiety, or worry about something in your life today; your job, finances, relationships, marriage or anything else, know that those feelings are not from our Heavenly Father. He has promised to give you a spirit of power, love and peace. There is tremendous power in peace, when you choose to receive the peace of God, then no weapon formed against you shall prosper. You will see the blessings God has in store for you.

Follow Your Passion

The passionate people who make the greatest contributions to society are not only highly motivated – they have proper motives. And, in the final analysis, proper motives always seek to accomplish goals that contribute to the common good…that serve others…that make the world a better place. The only way to move up from a place of mere survival to stability, and from stability to success, and from success to significance, is to engage in a God-inspired field of endeavor that will enable you to bring significant benefits to others.

Never Give Up!

Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

Sir Winston Churchill

God's Power at Work

Zechariah 9:12

Turn you to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope: Even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee;

With so many things happening around us, one can easily lose hope or perspective.Things that keep us in bondage such as fear, negative thoughts, low self-esteem, doubt and anger. As the verse above says; If you will be a prisoner of hope, God will restore back to you double your former prosperity. Keep hoping, keep pressing forward, keep believing. Never give up, and you will see His promise come to pass in your life.

Be Grateful

“To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude.”

The Inner Spirit

"In everyone's life at sometime, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit."

Silence

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.

A Mom's Despair

I am very inspired to share one of many of God's Special Miracles with you, which happened a few years ago. This proves how Awesome God is. I certainly know and understand the challenges mothers face raising children on their own, especially boys as I was divorced when my children were still quite young; So I bore all the responsibility of raising them. I had to be mother and father, I was never overwhelmed though, as I always placed my trust and faith in God and instilled this in my children, but on this particular day I felt despair.

We always spent quality time together, and after work each day I made it a priority to share special time outside of homework for us to share the days activities and have our discussions which we truly enjoyed and looked forward to.

We were facing some challenges at the time and my older son was very frustrated, I could not arrive at a solution to what was bothering him, however, I had faith in God to help me through this. So I said, "Pray son, just pray, we will pray together-have faith." He lashed out at me saying, "Mommy, I pray, I pray always, but it does not work, God does not answer me. Prayer does not work!" I was appalled, Oh! No, I thought, what do I do? I tried to calm him down, but he was so upset. I went into my bedroom and slumped unto the bed, thinking no! I'm not giving up, I can't give up. I must be able to teach my children to have faith, there has to be a way! Suddenly the words came out of my mouth to God, I called out to Him, saying, "God! You have got to help me here, I can't do this on my own, I need You. Please hear me, please, please teach me how to teach my children to have faith in You. Please, show me."

I wasn't sure that God heard me, I felt so alone. But, He did, because as I sat there on my bed, I felt inclined to call them both into my bedroom to read a Psalm to them. My son was angry, but he was obedient. As we all sat on the bed together, I read Psalm 31. I read this Psalm from my heart, whatever difficulty I faced, this Psalm always guided me through. I was deeply moved, and feeling I had to hold on, I had to believe God would help me. They were, I noticed unusually quiet while I read, of course again I thought Oh No! They must be bored! So I tried to read more passionately. But that was not it, God was working!

Almost at the end of reading I became aware that it was raining, however, I continued until I reached the last word. I then looked at them and they were staring at me in awe! I wasn't sure, so I said, "I know it is not so easy to understand, to have faith, but believe me sons, God is with us." It was now my turn to look at them in awe! As they both answered, "I know mom." What a change! Now there were tears in my eyes as they said, "Mom as you began to read the Psalm the rain started and continued until you read the last word, it stopped as you read the last word mommy!" Then I noticed they were huddled together.

My older son was no longer angry, I saw the awe in their eyes. I could not help asking, "Are you sure?" They both nodded simultaneously, "Yes mommy, the rain stopped on the last word you read!" Then I thought where did the rain come from? There was no hint of rain earlier, no forecast of any showers. Of course not!! The answer in that was my children felt the answer, they knew God had spoken, and I knew God had heard me! He did show me! God answered me! He spoke to their hearts! I was so grateful to God.

From that day on, they understood the Power of God, what it meant to have faith, to persevere. They still remember this today.

There are tears of gratitude as I write this, it is true! I was just an ordinary mom, faced with challenges I didn't understand. What I did understand was to trust God. To Him be all the Glory. Thank you God.

The lesson is we must NEVER GIVE UP! God's mercy is endless!

The Power of Your Words

2 Corinthians 4:13

"And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak."

Each person has been given a measure of faith. To see the promises of God come to pass in your life, you have to give your faith a voice. Those seeds of faith inside you are activated when you speak them out into the atmosphere. That's why the scripture tells us, "Let the weak say I am strong. Let the poor say I am rich." When you give your faith a voice and send forth the word of God out of your mouth, the bible says that He watches over His Word to bring it to pass in your life.

God's Favour

We should live each day anticipating more of God's favour.

Peter vs 1:13 says, "Gird up the loins of your mind and hope to the end for the divine favour that is coming."

It only takes a touch of God's favour to completely turn your situation around and failure into success.

A little about me

I have now gained a higher knowledge and amazing insight regarding my own issues and concerns and have discovered my Higher Self and connection with the Infinite Consciousness- meaning I am now more spiritually aware. As a direct result of this I have now exchanged my years of accumulated stress and anxiety for a new era of ecstasy and personal achievement. For years I sought peace and clarity and yearned to be free of old limitations and to feel more delightfully alive and somehow was not able to reach there until the past four years with much introspect and the Grace of God! I am a Mystic, though still a work in progress.

Please note while Mysticism plays an important role in all the world’s religions, by itself is not a religion. A mystic is any person who realizes, and is fortunate to maintain, a conscious connection with the Infinite Consciousness-the Infinite Spirit or any of it’s attributes, such as Love, Wisdom, Goodness, Transformation, Wholeness, or Creativity to name the main ones.

For helpful reading I highly recommend the book Mysticism, written by Evelyn Underhill. This book provides an in-depth and comprehensive exploration of the subject. This was my Noesis, loaned to me by a very dear and wonderful friend to whom I am grateful, for perhaps I would have otherwise missed the opportunity of reading it, it helped me greatly to accelerate my mystical development and my awareness of the subject.

So as I walk closer and closer with God, I feel a natural ongoing state of spiritual awareness, filled with ever new joy and so I am continually refreshed with helpful insights and I know with great humility I am consciously living in the presence of God.

On the other hand, I have a great love for humanity. I completely love nature, travelling, a great love for, respect and admiration of different cultures.

Let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God, what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect. Romans 12:2 (TEV)

With God’s Love

John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us we ought also to love one another.

There are so many distractions and temptation in today's world which can prevent us from hearing the voice of God. However, there is hope, always. Once we, as individuals decide to make that little step towards God and trust in Him we are well on our way! We just need to believe and I am here to help you take that step as with God all things are possible. Sometimes people feel that God doesn't answer their prayers, it may be that we are too busy, especially with the demands of life so heavily placed on us, we do not hear his voice. God speaks to us most of the time in a still, small voice. So the first step will be to pray in a quiet place where you can be alone with Him, surrender your feelings to Him, thank Him for listening, thank Him for loving you, then listen quietly, keep listening for Him to speak to you, allow the peace of God to surround you. You will open the ability for God's Grace to begin working in you. Just letting you know He did this for me, He will do this for you too. To God be all the Glory.

From as far back as I can remember I always had a very close relationship with God. This goes as far back as my childhood where whilst I slept one night the Lord spoke to me in a dream. I remember vividly hearing His voice which was so calm, gentle yet firm, teaching me how to know when danger was lurking! A few years later in another dream I dreamt of Jesus descending from heaven surrounded by clouds as He spoke with me. At the time I did not understand, I knew though that this was God, I remember feeling the power of His presence. I was a mere child when this life changing experience occurred. This was God's way of telling me He had a plan for my life.

This has remained with me, and so I knew from very early I was a child of God. I kept my dreams to myself, even though I was so young at the time. I continued praying.

Prayer and going to church was always an integral part of my upbringing as my parents were very religious.

My love and awareness of God increased as I got older and my experience with Jesus became more and more profound.

I am today extremely joyous and very happy knowing God the way I do. I am very grateful and have achieved great humility having gone through many adversities in my life. He has surely been with me, this was borne of faith, patience and my commitment to Jesus.

II Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the Saviour of His knowledge by us in every place.

He is an Almighty God! He is an Awesome God! He is a Great God!

Psalm 34:17

The righteous cry and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Jeremiah 29: 11-13

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me and I will hearken unto you, and ye shall seek Me, and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.

I will surely share with you my wonderful journey of faith on Becoming One with God.
